A few cable premieres tonight. “I Shouldn’t Be Alive” is on Animal Planet at 9, and “The Singing Bee” is on CMT also at 9. The finale of “Sanctuary” is on SyFy at 10 p.m. On Saturday, the premiere of “Pit Boss” is on Animal Planet at 10 p.m. On Sunday, A&E has the finale of “The Jacksons: A Family Dynasty” at 10 p.m.
CBS approved “NCIS: Los Angeles” and “The Good Wife” for second seasons. “Los Angeles” is the highest-rated new show this season with an average of 16.8 million viewers per week. “The Good Wife” has been a winner in the Tuesday 10 p.m. slot, helped by the failed Leno show on NBC.
Speaking NBC, the network announced its post-Olympic schedule.

- Fridays: Who Do You Think You Are?; Friday Night Lights at 8; Dateline NBC at 9.
- Saturdays: The Biggest Loser at 8; Law & Order at 9; Law & Order: SVU at 10.
- Sundays: Dateline NBC at 7; Minute to Win It at 8; The Celebrity Apprentice at 9.
TNT renewed its new drama “Men of a Certain Age” with Ray Romano, Andre Braugher and Scott Bakula for a 10-episode second season.
This spring, Discovery will debut “Worst Case Scenario” putting Bear Grylls risking his life to survive the worst possible situations.
The season finale of Sanctuary is on at 9pm on Syfy, it’s a double episode.
