Are you fit to be a demigod? Attendees at this year’s San Diego Comic Con were put to the test to determine whether they were appropriate candidates for Camp Half-Blood.
With the Percy Jackson series premiere on Disney+ only a few months away, fans of the beloved book series were eager for any news regarding Annabeth, Grover, and Percy’s small screen debut. While there was no organized panel at the con due to the SAG-AFTRA strike, the show made its presence known on the streets of sunny San Diego with photo ops, giveaways, and a fan gathering.
As a devoted Percy Jackson fan myself, I was thrilled at the opportunity to meet some of my fellow campers and obtain one of the coveted Camp Half Blood shirts this year. The excitement for the show was palpable and there truly is nothing better than being around other fans of your favorite projects.
Once inside the convention, Wise Girl and Seaweed Brain lovers could also check out the Disney Publishing Booth, where you could purchase the latest cover of The Lightning Thief and receive a free CHB temporary tattoo.
