Square Enix today announced it has  opened sign-ups for a special fan event to promote its upcoming title Quantum Conundrum.

The publisher is teaming up with iam8bit Productions to create the ultimate fan experience. Without going into much detail, Square Enix invites fans to volunteer for a “special, multi-dimensional production” in the Los Angeles area this May. That’s “all they can say.”

Participants must be at least 18 years of age, available during the days of Friday, May 11 and Saturday, May 12 in the Los Angeles area. You can sign up for the event by visiting this website. Only 50 fans will be chosen.

iam8bit is known for creating elaborate game-themed experiences and exhibits, so whatever it is might perhaps tie in with the game’s unique physics puzzles. Maybe fans will get to enter an anti-gravity chamber and compete to solve logic puzzles as fast as they can? Who knows!

Quantum Conundrum will release on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC this summer.
