“Rising: Rebuilding Ground Zero” premieres

On Thursday, August 25, “Rising: Rebuilding Ground Zero” will premiere on the Discovery Channel. The show, produced by Steven Spielberg, is timed with the 10 year anniversary of September 11th.

Airing for two weeks, the show will document the construction process of the new buildings at Ground Zero. Four skyscappers, a museum, a transporation hub and a memorial are all expected to be completed before the constuction deadline.

“Rising” includes the voices of builders, planners and residents who are all invested in the success of the project.

The six-hour series will conclude on September 1 at 8 p.m. and re-air on September 11 at 5 p.m. on the Discovery Channel.
