Boston.com’s Matt Rocheleau reports that 21 acts are scheduled to show up for the first JP Music Festival, set to go off on August 20 from 1-7 p.m.
The event is free, and organizers have set up a 75-minute “mix tape” to preview the acts.

- Opposite People
- Molly and Tess Pope
- Shepherdess
- Sweatshop
- Tallahassee
- Timinandi
The festival will be held at the Pinebank Field near Jamaica Pond. Parking is limited.
