Apple announced the results from its quarter two earnings today. In its conference call to shareholders, the company announced sales of 14.1 million iPhones, and 4.2 million iPads.

The results are from the sales period July-September. The company earned record revenues and profits; Apple took in $20.3 billion, with $4.3 billion in profits. The company also sold a quarter-best 3.89 computers in the period.

With the July-September timeframe factored into earlier announced sales, in six months from its introduction, Apple has sold roughly 8 million ipads. And that’s pretty much the entire life of the iPhone 4–so somewhere around 10 million people out there are FaceTiming. Have you gotten one of theseyet?
