Comedian Greg Giraldo, best known for his colorful additions to celebrity roasts, has died.

Giraldo had been in a coma for five days until Wednesday, when his family removed him from life support, TMZ reported.

TMZ reported that Giraldo overdosed on prescription drugs in New Brunswick, N.J. A friend called the overdose “accidental.”

Giraldo, 44, had also been a judge on “Last Comic Standing.”
