Actor Elmore "Rip" Torn was arrested in Connecticut for allegedly breaking into a bank on Friday night, state police said.

The actor, known for his roles in "Men in Black" and guest appearances on "30 Rock" was found at the Litchfield Bancorp in Salisbury, Conn., at 9:42 p.m..

When Connecticut State Troopers responding to a burglary alarm found him, they said he was carrying a loaded revolver.

Police said he was drunk at the time.

Torn, a resident of Salisbury, Conn., will be in court on Monday to answer for changes of burglary, criminal mischief, carrying a firearm while intoxicated, trespassing, and possessing a firearm without a permit.

Torn is 78 years old.
