Throwing down $5 to reserve a new release at mega-retailer GameStop is sometimes a hard thing to do.‚ Sure I’ve reserved myself a copy and earned the associate a precious “reserve tally,” but what about me, the loyal customer?
Well, if you’ve had an eye on Prototype, the M-rated open world action game, GameStop is offering up what they call a “critical hints map” with a Biohazard tube container as well as an Alex Mercer action figure complete with a grossly unnatural right arm, as thanks for your $5 donation.
Prototype hits shelves June 9 for Xbox 360, PS3, and PC, and a $5 reservation at GameStop now ensures you not only the title, but mass a mass produced trinket.‚ Awesome?
