Valve released Left 4 Dead 2 yesterday, but not everyone is satisfied with its new and improved graphics, enemies, weapons, and settings. Some want to kick it old school.

Enter Left 4 Dead: The Retro NES Version.

Yupp,the popular zombie-slaughterfest has been “de-made” into an outdated 8-bit style, complete with similarly appropriate chip tunes, outdoor environments, and mindless undead.

I’m just going to go ahead and say it. This. Is. Awesome.

Sure, someone has loads of extraneous time I envy on their hands, but when a product this fine comes out, I can’t help but smile.
