As Kobe bows out of the game of basketball, his legend will live on in the virtual court.

During Bryant’s last game Wednesday night against the Utah Jazz, 2k Games tweeted out an image teasing the cover for the next game in the franchise.

The “Legend Edition” acts as a collectors edition to the regular game and will only be available for the Xbox One and PS4. Last year’s special edition cover athlete was Kobe’s inspiration Michael Jordan. At $80 it will come bundled with a Kobe poster, two trading cards and a Black Mamba skin for your controller. This also includes several digital items like a Kobe #8 jersey, Kobe MyTEAM cards and 30,000 in digital currency.

What would really be sweet is if 2k implements a mode much like the “Jordan Challenge” in 2k11, where you could replay though some of number 23’s greatest moments. Considering the legendary career made by Kobe Byrant in his 19 NBA seasons, there is plenty of material to work with, especially that 81 point game against the Raptors.

It will be the second time Bryant graces the cover of an NBA 2k game, previously celebrating the tenth anniversary of the basketball simulation in NBA 2k10.

NBA 2k17 comes out this fall to pay its final respects to Kobe Bryant’s incredible career.
