In attempt to once more become relevant, NetZero has added a new product: the
mobile hotspot. More popularly known for their dial-up services, NetZero has
developed hotspot locations in many places that Sprint and Verizon do not carry.

The most basic data plans from NetZero will be free, however, those services appear
to be slow and inefficient. In comparison to most smart phones, NetZero’s data plans
aren’t worth the wait or convenience.

NetZero has six data plans to chose from, ranging from free (200mb) to $50
dollars for 4gb a month. Available in hotspot form and USB, NetZero’s product has
contracts—something that most companies cannot offer.
