Braintree police were sad to learn that a 94-year-old Hull woman, who was the victim in a two-car accident on Tuesday, died of her injuries at South Shore Hospital on Saturday.
Esther E. Chandler had been driving northbound on Quincy Avenue when a second car turned left from the right lane, causing Chandler’s car to crash and rollover, trapping her inside.
The second driver, an unnamed Quincy woman, was cited for marked lanes violation, and police will be consulting with the Norfolk County District Attorney’s Office to potentially bring additional charges against her.
