ATT has announced that its U-Verse IPTV platform will be hitting the Xbox 360 in the United States this Friday, October 15 and Windows Live phones next month. The service allows for users to watch, record and manage TV content from major networks directly on the Xbox 360.

The service is a bit pricey though, as those wishing to set-up service on the Xbox 360 will be required to $99 for a startup kit ($55 for those who already have service but would like to extend it to the console) along with AT&T’s monthly service fees.

The service is the first live TV service to hit the console in America, but European gamers have had a similar service in Sky TV for the last few years.
