The Entertainment Software Association grows one member stronger today with the addition of Natsume.‚  Widely known for their Harvest Moon and Reel Fishing series’, Natsume has been a force in family oriented gaming available on a number of platforms since 1990.

“It’s important to partner with an organization which not only acts as the voice for the video game industry, but also reflects the mission and goals we have established for our company,” said Hiro Maekawa, President and CEO at Natsume. “We are pleased to join the ESA and are excited to collaborate on upcoming programs and activities such as the 2009 E3 Expo.”

As a result of a smaller E3 in 2008 and subsequently a shortfall in revenue, a 1600% increase of membership dues was applied and major players Activision, LucasArts, id Software, Crave and NCsoft jumped ship.‚  Can you blame them?

With the recent addition of SouthPeak Interactive and now Natsume, the ESA is comprised of 22 members.‚  Who’s next?
