Activision unveiled the Guitar Hero: World Tour DLC for the month of May today with tracks ranging from the Swedish metal group In Flames to the radio friendly earful Pink and so, so many in between.
May 7 sees the launch of the Ferret/Metal Blade Track Pack which includes:
The Devil Wears Prada- “Dez Moines”
Chimaira- “On Broken Glass”
Unearth- “Grave of Opportunity”
Best of all, the trifecta of tunes won’t cost you a pretty penny!, and is further evidence that Activision has metal on the brain.
A week later Activision changes the tone dramatically with pop sensations Pink, One Republic, and Angels and Airwaves all contributing tunes to the game.‚ The Pop Rock Track Pack contains the following:
Pink- “So What”
One Republic- “Stop and Stare”
Angels and Airwaves- “Everything’s Magic”
Finally, on May 21, Guitar Hero continues to represent the global stage with the fifth European Track Pack with tunes from the Sweidsh metal band In Flames, as well as the poppy and catchy French group Housse de Racket and Cody ChesnuTT, two groups made famous through their UK and Germany TV commercials.
In Flames- “Disconnected”
Housse de Racket- “Oh Yeah” (careful when you listen to this one, it’s very, very addicting)
Cody ChesnuTT- “Look Good in Leather”
The Pop Rock and European Track Pack’s will be available for $5.49/440 MS Points or individually for $1.99/160 MS Points/200 Wii Points.‚ And remember, the Ferret/Metal pack is FREE!!
