Insomniac Games, the famed developers of the “Ratchet and Clank” and “Resistance” series have teased their next original IP.

The Burbank, California based studio released a teaser video on their YouTube page simply titled “What’s Next?” As the camera pans down an underwater landscape, we can see some old machinery among sunken ruins. The art style is somewhat reminiscent of the newer “Rayman” games and could be a hint that the game is mostly 2D.

Nonetheless, this is all the information we have at the moment, with a full announcement scheduled for Jan. 28 at 8:30am CT.

Insomniac are currently working on a remake of the original “Ratchet and Clank” for the PS4 as well as a virtual reality exclusive known as “Edge of Nowhere.”
