The recent talk of a new Supra from Toyota has gained more ground with the announcement that a digital concept of the car will be available as downloadable content in Gran Turismo 6.
This digital concept will likely foreshadow the look of the real car. It is part of the “Vision Gran Turismo” program, which gives automakers a chance to show off upcoming designs through in-game concept cars.
Although Toyota has not confirmed the rumors of a new Supra, it did announce on its UK blog that “this is the only image available at the moment but any talk of Toyota and new sports cars always leads to speculation on the introduction of a spiritual successor to the Supra.”
It is commonly believed that the new Supra will be a collaboration between BMW and Toyota, though no details could be confirmed.
