Actress Rooney Mara, who started as Mark Zuckerberg’s girlfriend in “The Social Network,” went hard for the February issue of W magazine. The actress underwent an incredible transformation to appear in the guise of Lisbeth Salander, her character in the upcoming film adaptation of “The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo” by wearing dark eye make up, a white vest top and leather trousers and getting her hip tattooed.

Actually, she had her hair dyed and cut, her eyebrows bleached, her lip, brow, nose, and nipple pierced, along with her ears pierced several times.

She told the magazine, “I didn’t even have pierced ears. They put four holes in each ear, and, weirdly, that hurt the most. It was all very organized. With (director) David (Fincher) everything is measured and carefully considered. He wants what he sees in his head.”
