There’s no question Electronic Arts and its Battlefield series is popular. But EA DICE’s next Bad Company installment, Bad Company 2, entered public beta last month exclusively for PS3, and hundreds of thousands have enlisted and killed each other 45 million times.

Electronic Arts released statistics for the beta today and said over 300,000 have joined in ultimately helping EA decide how to properly tweak the game before its March 2010 release.

Here’s the breakdown.

– Total kills = 45.42M
– 9.4M kills from Vehicles
– 3.43M Vehicles Destroyed
– 380K Houses Destroyed
– 1.01M Marksman Headshots
– Total number of points awarded = 10 100 094 360
– Total number of Revives = 2.52M
– Total Repair Tool kills = 15.58K
– Total Defibrillator Kills = 12.69k
– Total Knife Kills = 1.69M
– Total C4 Kills = 730.81K

Sadly, the beta comes to a violent end December 21, which is next Monday. A demo for the game, for 360 and PS3, is said to hit sometime early 2010.

Now, excuse me as I jump back into the beta, which, as we already previewed for you, is really freakin’ fun.
