Activision, one of the largest publishers in the business and owners of the Guitar and DJ Hero brands, today teased a DJ Hero 2 sequel, weeks before DJ Hero 1 releases.
DJ Hero is due out later this month but Activision already sees money in the series and according to GamesIndustryBiz, FreeStyleGames, makers of DJ Hero, are currently speaking with “at least one independent UK games developer” for work on DJ Hero 2.
Additionally, Qbert, a popular DJ (apparently) is already being approached for the sequel.
DJ Hero might fail, no one might buy it, and perhaps a sequel won’t happen. Or maybe it will. What do you think?
