What would any sports game be with cover athletes?‚  I don’t know, a dull and bland experience I guess.‚  Electronic Arts today revealed the cover athletes for NCAA Football ’10, with names you’d most likely expect. ‚ Michael Crabtree, Brian Johnson, Brian Orakpo and Mark Sanchez, with each gridiron master adorning an exclusive platform boxart.

Crabtree, the prolific wide receiver from Texas Tech will have his likeness slapped on the Xbox 360 cover and is likely to be selected high up in the NFL draft this weekend.

PlayStation 3 gamers have the privilege of staring down the University of Utah quarterback, Brian Johnson.

Fans of handheld football will be treated to USC quarterback Mark Sanchez, the most valuable offensive player in the 2008 Rose Bowl, on the Sony PSP.

Finally, first team all-American defensive end Brian Orakpo will be featured on the PlayStation 2 cover.

EA Sports has high hopes for their line of titles in ’09.‚  The mega-publisher gave away every title of ’09 to Ashton Kutchers’ 1 millionth follower and recently set an online milestone, here’s to hoping 2010 is just as fruitful!
