There’s a game out there. It’s nearly-ready for release, gunning for Modern Warfare 2‘s market-share, has a stellar looking single-player, a thoroughly-engaging multiplayer component, and money from publisher Electronic Arts behind it.

It’s Battlefield: Bad Company 2. EA DICE is building it, and from everything we’ve seen and played already, it should hold up nicely next to Modern Warfare 2 come March.

Today, EA released a trailer debuting the game’s ‘Squad Rush’ multiplayer game mode. This game-type pits two teams of 4 players against eachother in what looks to be a very team-oriented destroy-the-crate type experience. Expect short, frenzied, and bloody affairs in the ‘Squad Rush’ gametype.

Battlefield: Bad Company 2 comes to PS3, Xbox 360 and PC, March 4.
