Get ready to break some kneecaps as you enact revenge in “Mafia 3” this October.
The “Mafia” series is making its much anticipated comeback to current generation hardware, setting the story in the middle of the Civil Rights fueled New Orleans. While the actual city is not named, instead taking the moniker of New Bordeaux, the trailer does a fantastic job of illustrating the tense racial overtones of the time.
However, the main story revolves around Lincoln Clay’s quest for revenge against the mob who took out the black mafia that helped him in his post-Vietnam days. He will have to juggle the loyalties of the Irish, Hatian and Italian gangs in order to accomplish this.
With stunning facial animations and a solid story from the look of the trailer, Mafia’s 3 October 7th release date could not come soon enough.
