Anker, creator of some mixtures of pretty and functional have thrown together a $12 car charger that can power two iPads or other tablets at the same time with dual 24W 2.4 amp USB ports.
The $11.99 charger features an Apple 2.4Amp max port and an Android 2.4Amp max port to deliver 24W/4.8Amps of simultaneous output. The charger is universally compatible so you can quickly power up two devices while you drive.
We like this. First of all, $20 is what you expect to send on a single charger. $12 is supposed to be for something in the Walgreens bins. Not this sleek powerhouse that will happily charge your iPhone and your tablet while you race to give a presentation after forgetting to plug either device in overnight. (Feeling the angst?)
This is tiny, pretty, cheap, and powerful.
The Anker 24W Dual-Port Car Charger is compatible with all iPhones, iPads and iPods; Samsung Galaxy S4, S3 and S2; Galaxy Note 2; Motorola Droid RAZR MAXX; HTC One X, V and S; GPS; PSP; Kindle and Kindle Fire; and Nexus 7 and 10.
