Kinect’s lineup so far has been full of cute animals, dancing and lots and lots of motion sports, but if the first screens from Japanese developer Suda 51’s “Codename D” are any indication — things are about to get a lot weirder.

Announced back in September, Codename D places players in an eerie abandoned amusement park using Kinect’s movement fight off “fiendish nightmare creatures.”

Suda 51 is most known for the mature and bloody  No More Heroes series on the Nintendo Wii and PS3, Expect it to be violent, and expect it to be like nothing you’ve played on Kinect before.

Codename D is expected to ship sometime in 2011.
