The Deep End Games have finally set in stone that their haunting horror adventure game Perception will release on May 30.

You play as Cassie, a blind woman who has to use her incredible sense of hearing along with plenty of resources to explore a haunted mansion. The trailers have all alluded to a dark, supernatural plot that only gets scarier when you can’t get a good look at what is chasing you.

The game appears to be cut from the same cloth as SOMA and the Amnesia games, where you remain utterly helpless and your best option is always to find a hiding spot. The terrifying prospect of having to echolocate your way out of a large New England mansion only makes this game even scarier.

Perception is coming out on May 30 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. Check out the new trailer above.
