In 2005 the release of the Xbox 360 marked the start of the seventh generation in video game consoles. In November of this year, the release of the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4 will mark the true start of the next generation. The Xbox One is geared up to have some exciting exclusive titles following in the footsteps of the Xbox 360.

10. Ninja Gaiden II (2008)

Saints Row begins the storyline and crazy antics that follow through the entirety of the series. Full of character and vehicle customization in addition to the array of great weapons, this sandbox truly lets the player control any type character they wish. A sandbox style zombie survival game is already enough to make Dead Rising an appealing game. However, Capcom also allowed players to customize the main character and put some pretty funny masks on the zombies themselves, which made the game all that more great. Dead Rising also features a number of endings depending on the player’s actions and choices including one for staying by the starting helipad throughout the game’s designated time limit; in other words, doing literally nothing at all.
4. Halo: Reach (2010)

The first game of the series to be released after the conclusion of the Halo trilogy, Halo: Reach provides a new style of gameplay that is still easily identifiable for long time Halo players. Players have the option to play to their style and are put to some difficult moral choices that don’t just come down to good or evil. Intuitive combat and plenty of character customization, along with the added system that changes your body type by the way you play, Fable II has one of the highest replay values of any story driven video game.

The Gears of War franchise quickly went from good video game to Xbox icon when it was released. Building upon its two predecessors, Gears of War 3 is the pinnacle of the series.
