Sleeping Dogs is shaping up to be an amazing title. Not only is the game’s back-story deep and engaging, but its hand-to-hand combat system is fluid and fun. (For more insight into the game, check out my preview.)

It looks like Sleeping Dogs is about to get even better now that Square Enix and United Front Games have announced their partnership with highly acclaimed mixed martial arts champion Georges St-Pierre who is sharing his expertise on elements of the game including its combat system.

“Working with Square Enix has been an incredible opportunity,” said St-Pierre. “I’m really impressed to see how the hand-to-hand combat in the game is shaping up – it’s been a great experience being involved.”

Sleeping Dogs lets players take on the role of Wei Shen, an undercover cop sent to Hong Kong to infiltrate the Triad organization. The open-world game is expected to release this Fall on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.
