Previously primed and ready to hit shelves in February, Ubisoft today revealed that Splinter Cell: Conviction will not find its way to the party at that date and instead will drop in April.

“The postponed release dates for Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Conviction and R.U.S.E., which were previously scheduled for the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2009-10, and will now be released in fiscal year 2010-11. Splinter Cell Conviction is now expected to hit the stores in April 2010.”

Looks like the real-time-strategy title R.U.S.E. is getting the push-back treatment and will miss its February date too and will release sometime when Ubisoft says its ready.
