Hundreds of Twilight fans were upset early Wednesday morning when they were turned away from Orland Square Mall in Chicago. Many came prepared to wait in the cold rain for hours, but that wasn't necessary - mall security decided to sell the wristbands and t-shirts needed for entrance into Rob Pattinson's presence early to avoid the same sort of fiasco that San Francisco fans experienced, but therein created a fiasco of their own. Wristbands that were not to be passed out until 7:30 that morning were gone by 2 AM.
Boys, you may call "Twilight" a "girly" book, based on the thousands of 14-year-olds and their mothers who make up a large portion of Stephenie Meyer's fan base. But Ben from IGN.com has found a new reason for men to read the four book long Twilight saga.
This year's San Diego Comic-con hosted a special event Thursday to promote the upcoming film. Meyer, director Catherine Hardwicke, and some of the movie's cast attended the panel. Waiting anxiously for them were thousands of screaming fans, though only about 6,500 were admitted to the hall.
