After being announced back in 2013 as a PlayStation 4 exclusive, Zelda-style adventure game Rime finally has a release date in sight. Developer Tequila Works announced that Rime will be coming out on May 26 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, with a Switch version also in the works for this summer.

The Mediterranean exploration game was initially planned as a PS4 exclusive, but Sony backed out of the deal last year after significant delays.

The trailer above is the latest one released, showing off the gorgeous art style that draws inspiration from The Witness and the mysterious plot you will undoubtedly unravel the more time you spend on the island. While the main inspiration seems to be drawn from traditional adventure games, there are hints of off-beat titles like ICO and Journey to keep things interesting.

The beginning of 2017 has already been a busy one for gamers, with several must-play titles coming out in a short span of time. Let’s hope Rime doesn’t slip between the cracks of what is sure to be a watershed year in gaming.
