Watch Dogs 2 is receiving significantly better praise than its predecessor, but a lot of the attention around the game might come from one of its secrets.

Within the hacktacular world of San Francisco inside Ubisoft’s newest open world game, you can find a tongue-in-cheek rendition of the developer’s studios. Hack in the right place and you will find this trailer:

Keep in mind that Ubisoft has been pretty meta in their approach to humor within Watch Dogs 2 so this could be nothing more than a red herring. However, if they were to continue to poke fun at themselves then the trailer could be a more direct parody, rather than a secretive hint. While I don’t think they completely forgot an E3 trailer within the game code, I wouldn’t discard this as being a teaser for a game that will never see the light of day.

Barring a brand new IP, a part of me is begging this to be a new Beyond Good and Evil. At the same time, it could prove to be a massive departure for Assassin’s Creed and Far Cry if either of those series went to space.

Whatever it is, Ubisoft sure has got us looking.
