Following a 12-hour blackout of the PlayStation Network on Jan. 4, Sony has emailed subscribers to the service a free one day extension for their troubles. The code can be redeemed before March 31.
Sony has been slowly winning back the trust of its fanbase after the infamous hacking attack a couple of years ago and the Christmas day outage last year. Though this most recent incident was nothing more than a small blip, Sony was quick to mend any hard feelings fans may have had during the blackout.
