Michael J. Fox’s sitcom, “The Michael J. Fox Show,” has been cancelled after just one season.

NBC decided to end the series after the show struggled to attract a consistent following.  The show has already been removed from the current line-up.  It is unclear whether the remaining seven episodes of the full 22-episode season will be aired.

The cancellation of the Back to the Future star’s series comes just a few weeks after another returning TV favorite’s show was removed.  Sean Hayes’ “Sean Saves the World,” which aired right before “The Michael J. Fox Show” is no longer on the air either.

Both shows will be replaced by celebrity game show “Hollywood Game Night.”  Ironically, Hayes is an executive producer on the show.
