Cross-platform malware is a huge issue today, and it will continue to be a menace in 2014.

Perhaps the most dangerous cross-platform malware came up in 2009. Koobface, as it is called, could affect both Windows and Mac computers, targeting messenger software, email, and social media accounts. And it managed to earn hackers $2 million in the process.
