Is this Bigfoot in GTA V?

There’s a lot to do and see in GTA V’s Los Santos, but one Reddit user thinks they may have found something legendary. According to a post by OscartheSwede, Bigfoot is lurking around the hills of the city’s forrest area.

According to the posting, Bigfoot can be spotted by using the sniper riffle with the thermal scope in a mission towards the beginning of the game. “So in the mission where Franklin are chasing after three guys that Trevor wants dead, they crash in a forest. Michael and Trevor arrives at the forest with a helicopter so Micheal can shoot them from the air with a sniper rifle,” the post reads.”So now to the easter egg. If you aim almost as far as possible to the right bottom corner you will see Bigfoot. Use the thermal to spot him and make sure that you don’t put your sights on him, because he will disappear then. If you want to get a good look at him, zoom in as far as possible and keep him in the corners of your sights. He won’t disappear then.

The post has a bunch of pictures of the supposed beast, with the best non-thermal one above. Another user created a video, which you can see something large supposedly just standing in the woods:

For what it’s worth, if you start looking for the creature on foot, you can’t find him and it only seems like it’s during this mission. The legendary beast is no stranger to the Grand Theft Auto series, at least in rumor as it was rumored to be hidden in the hills in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, which is set in the same fictional area. Bigfoot also made an appearance in Red Dead Redemption’s Undead Nightmare DLC.
