Jack Tretton announced that Sony’s next console will, in fact, support used games. You won’t need to check in periodically online, he continued, nor will you need to worry about connecting it to the internet at all times as there won’t be any DRM of any kind on the console.

He went on to say that your PlayStation Plus membership (along with its free game perks) will carry over to PlayStation 4, but will now be required to play multiplayer games online.
