Nintendo today announced that The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker is coming to Wii U this Fall. Link’s cel-shaded adventure will boast HD graphics and Miiverse integration. Aside from better visuals and lighting effects, no further improvements were announced, but users can probably expect better inventory controls thanks to the Wii U’s GamePad.

The original Wind Waker first released on the GameCube back in 2003. Since Nintendo is busy at work on a whole new Zelda game, it hopes this HD remake gives players something to enjoy until Link’s latest adventure is complete.
