The Hollywood Reporter and Entertainment Website Vulture is reporting that Michael Arndt, the screenwriter behind blockbuster films like Toy Story 3 and The Hunger Games has written a 40-50 page treatment for the recently announced  Star Wars: Episode VII, and yes — Luke, Leia and  Han are in it.

The report claims that Arndt was hired to write the treatment before Disney even bought LucasFilm and made the plans for the new trilogy public and that it will soon cross the desks of some of Hollywood’s biggest director’s including Steven Spielberg, JJ Abrams and Brad Bird. There’s no confirmation if any of them would be interested in the project, but you can’t blame Disney for trying.

Arndt is expected to complete the first draft of the script next. Star Wars: Episode VII is expected to begin filming in 2014.
