The American Dental Association and PopCap are teaming up to make sure kids everywhere don’t end up with zombie mouth. Starting today, their “Stop Zombie Mouth” campaign will let trick-or-treaters pick up copies of Plants Vs. Zombies instead of candy when they make their rounds trick-or-treating on Halloween.

Anyone interested in hosting trick-or-treaters can obtain free coupons for the PC/Mac edition of the game via participating ADA member dentists nationwide or by downloading them from www.stopzombiemouth.com. Kids can choose whether they want a piece of candy or a copy of the game instead. It’s not only a great way to show how important it is to be mindful of sugary treats, but it’s just another way games can have a positive effect on society, even during Halloween.
