So we’re still waiting on news of anything new for Half-Life, but it looks like we might be getting the next best thing. Black Mesa, the long in development
Half-Life  mod will finally release on September 14.

Sort of.

Black Mesa is not done, but the volunteer development team has decided to release what they’ve completed for the world to check out. If you’re unfamiliar with the project, Black Mesa aims to give a modern face-lift to Valve’s original Half-Life — and it looks awesome. Check it out below.
