A new report is circulating that Electronic Art’s Chief Operating Officer Peter Moore may be next inline for the company’s top job — currently held by John Riccitiello.

According to the report, credited to an anonymous source,  Riccitiello will be asked to step down from his current CEO role after the company’s July 30 earnings conference call, which is expected to address the company’s falling stock price and a “general feeling of tension” among the publisher’s studios.

The source claims that the change has not yet been approved but will be put up to a vote.
