Pokémon Black and White Version 2 just released in Japan earlier this week, and today Nintendo of America let US players know they only have to wait until the fall to experience this new Pokémon sequel.

Releasing on October 7, Black and White Version 2 will let players revisit the Unova region two years after the events in the first game. Different Pokémon now roam the lands and there are new characters, gym leaders, and bad guys to run into. We’ve been playing through the game and will let you know how it stands up to the original. So far, the game is surprisingly good and is a more robust version of Pokémon Black and White.

Pokémon Dream Radar will also release on the same day on the eShop. While the games are made for the DS, players with a 3DS can catch new Pokémon using the app and even discover the new Therian forms of Legendary Pokémon Tornadus, Thundurus, and Landorus. Pokédex 3D Pro will also be available, and will include information on all 649 Pokémon in existence  – a big increase from the original free app that came out last year. No prices are set yet for these two eShop titles, but it doesn’t look like they will free.
