The director’s cut of once-defunct-jam-band Dispatch’s video for their song “Not Messin'” has been released by the band via their YouTube channel.

More than 150 of the group’s fans are featured – they responded to an open call for extras dressed in their best country/western getup. They convened at Mishnock Barn in Rhode Island, just next door from the studio where the group recorded early albums “Bang Bang”, “Four-Day Trials”, and “Who Are We Living For?”. The video also features some of the region’s famous line-dancing, provided by Mishnock Barn’s regulars.

While the group’s upcoming album, Circles Around the Sun, is scheduled to drop August 21, fans can preorder it on band’s web store or on iTunes starting today. This will be the group’s first studio album in 12 years. The supporting North American tour is set to start with a stints at Manchester, TN’s Bonnaroo Festival and Outside Lands in San Francisco before the band crosses the country through September and October. The list of dates announced thus far is available here.
