LOS ANGELES — Assassin’s Creed III Liberation will launch on PlayStation Vita systems on October 30 on its own and as part of a new Crystal White Vita bundle.

Liberation takes place during Connor’s same time period, but in the city of New Orleans and lets players control Aveline, the first female assassin the series has seen. The game promises to deliver “a true Assassin’s Creed experience” to Sony’s handheld and includes similar gameplay seen in the console version but with added Vita touch-screen controls and functionality. Linking to the console game will also unlock goodies including weapons and other in-game content.

Assassin’s Creed III Liberation is available this fall. Stay tuned for our preview of the game this week from E3!
