Lollipop Chainsaw stars Juliet Starling, a chainsaw-wielding, zombie-slaying cheerleader from San Romero High School who also happens to carry her boyfriend Nick’s severed head by her hip. She accidentally beheaded her boyfriend after she was bitten in a zombie outbreak caused by her evil classmate whom she is on a mission to stop. Did I forget to mention Nick’s head is still alive and occasionally talks to Juliet too?

Yes. Grasshopper Manufacturer, the developer who brought us the hilarious survival-horror Shadows of the Damned, are giving us their take on a zombie slayer. But, I’m sure you all may be wondering what the soundtrack of a zombie massacre actually sounds like.

The video below has singer and composer Jimmy Urine and sound director Akira Yamaoka disccussing the many influences that went into creating Lollipop Chainsaw’s musical score, or, as they call it, their “art project.”
