Harmonix, the Massachusetts based developers behind the once incredibly successful Guitar Hero and Rock Band games is hinting that it’s got something new to show, and they’ll be doing it at this year’s Penny Arcade East Expo (PAX East), held April 6-8 at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center.

The rumor stems from a tweet by the official RockBand Twitter account in reply to a user tweeting that “the plastic rock community needs a new game to look forward to.”  To which the Rock Band team replied that an announcement of some kind was coming at the annual show.

No word yet on what the title will be, but the studio is coming off the highly successful Dance Central 2, and another title would seem a bit rushed. Could we see another band exclusive title or perhaps Rock Band 4?

Blast will be at PAX East bringing you all the news, info and wackiness.
