In the months of hype leading up to Battlefield 3’s release, EA announced that the those who buy the PS3 version of the game will receive a free copy of early franchise entry Battlefield 1943. Then, when the game was released, the extra game was missing, and people weren’t happy.

Facing a number of lawsuits, EA has announced that they will be providing vouchers for those that bought the PS3 version of the game. Those looking to secure a copy of the game are required to go to EA’s portal; 1943redemption.battlefield.com and using their Origin ID, request a code for their region.
