A day after filing for a divorce from her 72-day marriage, Kim Kardashian claims to have not married Kris Humphries for personal gain. On her website, she writes “I married for love. I can’t believe I even have to defend this. I would not have spent so much time on something just for a TV show!”
Despite her marriage lasting less than three months, Kardashian insists that rumors of her wedding resulting in her own financial gain are only rumors. She says “There are also reports that I made millions of dollars off of the wedding. These reports are simply not true and it makes me so sad to have to even clarify this. I’m so grateful to everyone who took the time to come to my wedding, and I’ll be donating the money for all the gifts to the Dream Foundation”.
Kardashian filed for a divorce from Kris Humphries after their $10 million wedding in August, due to irreconcilable differences.
